In order to have disagreement or agreement, there must first be agreement. It is this principle that informs all of the works dealing with surfaces and ruptures. The works seek to make visible the often invisible and cultural specific surface of agreement onto which interaction takes place. I have attempted to make these surfaces, not only visible, but also present them as being contested and potentially threatening.
