Early on a Sunday (in collaboration with Ruth Sacks) This piece consists of a viola and cello performance of Bach's Crab Canon, played in presto and retrograde on the Sunday morning 5 August at the Johannesburg Art Fair. This coincides with the simultaneous setting up of the art fair and the early morning routine of Inner City Johannesburg. A crab canon is an arrangement of two things that are complementary both forward and backward. |
